Middle Eastern stallions have an expansive trunk and a short, yet solid back and inclined shoulders which give them control and floaty walks. By and large, all stallions that are reared to run or run require a decent length of croup (back or posterior) and a decent length of hip for appropriate connection of muscles (when in doubt, both go together).
Commonly, a great quality Arabian has both a moderately even croup and an appropriately calculated pelvis with great length of croup and profundity of hip (or length of pelvis) to permit spryness and impulsion. Obviously, inside the Arabian breed there are varieties:
