Muslim ladies making new artscapeNew Delhi, Sep 14 (IANS) Using symbols of Islam, a little gathering of Muslim ladies is making a class of workmanship that looks to address contemporary socio-political issues and concerns identified with strengthening of ladies.
‘They are developing on components from Islam to decipher what is going on to them and it goes past religion to wind up distinctly completely human and common,’ Ashok Vajpeyi, the executive of the Lalit Kala Akademi, told IANS.
‘Generally, relatively few ladies have existed in the field of workmanship. It is an intriguing development as in there have been ladies authors in the eighteenth century. For quite a while, it was believed that Islam did not permit visual representation.’
